Well last week was a very busy and interesting week. Macadey had a fun time having an overnight er with Grandma and Grandpa Done. She enjoyed going to the petting zoo and seeing all the fun animals. Grandma an Grandpa Done made a cute book off all the fun things that she did and now she will not put it down. Macadey had a fun treat yesterday when she found the deodorant. Usually she tries putting it on but yesterday was no such luck. SHE ATE IT!!! and not even 2 minutes later was throwing up all over us. Needless to say I think that she has learned her lesson deodorant is not a treat.
Jeff is working hard to get things done and on Saturday we had a very very busy day of drywalling. We had tons of help and got the basement done except for a few small areas and that is only because we ran out of drywall. They worked from 8am until 8pm. AND I must tell JAMES THANK YOU!!!!! It really meant alot that you stayed for so long to help get it done. I know that Jeff would have been overwhelmed had everyone left him alone working on it. As for everyone else who came thank you to you also. I know that it is hard to take time out of your busy schedules especially on a Saturday to work on someone elses projects. THANK YOU!!!!!
As for Jensen and I we are doing OK but have to take it easy because this little guy is ready to come and he still has some time until he should be here. I have had to be patient and let other people around us help with house cleaning and other things that I really should be able to handle. I am really grateful for my poor husband and all that is on his plate right now. I know that he is overwhelmed and trying so hard to help me out in everything. It is the hardest for me to watch him work so hard and still have so much left to do. I cry to him daily about how I am such a bad wife and he always puts his arms around me and tells me that I am not and that I am doing alot. I laugh at that remark because I feel so useless. I am so lucky to have him!!! I could not ask for a more amazing spouse. It's funny to say that because not even 2 nights ago Jeff and I where talking about how lucky we are to have each other and that their was no one out there more perfect for us than one another. We had the opportunity to date others and in the end we found the right person. WHAT A RELIEF!!!! WOW Pregnancy hormones going again. I can't seem to stop crying!
I am also thankful for those family and friends that have been there to help me out in this ordeal. I still have 13 weeks and this is going to be very hard for me and for everyone else around. I have had the wonderful opportunity to be called in to the primary presidency and have been very busy with that calling, I am surprised at how much time actually goes into that calling. I thought that it would be easy but atlast it is not. I have had to tell them also that my abilities are limited which has been very hard on me.
I had a most interesting experience with this calling and with having little Jensen. We where talking about the children and how stubborn and so very independent they all are. I also was worrying about Jensen and what his life is going to hold for him. Will he be a missionary or a soldier, It then came to me that the kids are the way they are because of what they are going to have to face as they grow up and they are going to need to be strong and that they PREPARED for this up in heaven and we as parents need to understand this and become strong with them. The lord knows what is happening and what will happen and has prepared us all for the obstacles ahead of us.
